When some guy stole MONOPOLY from the woman who invented it, he rethemed it using streets from Atlantic City, New Jersey The New Jersey DEVIL is a cryptid (and also hockey I guess) The Jersey SHORE is a coastline encompassing dozens of towns and communities The New Jersey TURNPIKE is one of the most heavily traveled highways in America PRINCETON is some fancy school in New Jersey JUDY BLUME, Bruce SPRINGSTEEN, and WHITNEY HOUSTON were all born in New Jersey (and have made varying sizes of deals about it) SALTWATER TAFFY and BUBBLE WRAP were both invented in New Jersey.

  2. Being as vague as I can be so as to avoid giving unwanted clues (hopefully those yet to solve aren't reading the comments anyway), 24A relates to 1D and could therefore also have a place in the spoiler text.
