Cryptics 101: Container

This is the fifth of a series of small puzzles meant to introduce the conventions of cryptic crosswords to the uninitiated. It introduces and uses only a single clue type: the container clue.

  1. A few of these surfaces were surprisingly tricky (5A, 6A, 3D), despite knowing what to look for! Nicely done.
